This is the website for the Affordable Screen Rooms Company. Our mission is to provide you with a quality product for an affordable price. We achieve this by remaining a small company and by constantly striving to keep overhead costs low. This allows us to offer competitive prices while using the highest quality products. This advantage of remaining small not only allows us to focus on each customer, but also to provide you with personal attention during the sale and all the way through to the end of construction. Marketing can be one of the largest costs to a company budget. We aim to keep our marketing costs down by relying largely on referrals of previous and current customers. This also is in the interest of giving you the best quality at the best price.

This company is proudly owned by Ray Edwards. He got started in this industry more than 15 years ago and takes great pride in not only doing the job right the first time, but doing it the way YOU want it done. Ray started out as an apprentice mechanic and quickly learned how to layout and cut jobs. He was determined and motivated to learn everything he could about measuring and designing various aluminum structures. The more challenging, the better! He went from a helper position to a lead position in only 9 months. Ray even went so far as to buy a trigonometry book and learn the formulas to calculate angles and degrees needed to build pool enclosures and similar structures. He is also thankful to have been able to work with and learn from, whom he would consider, the best aluminum mechanics in the area. Ray is ready to put his skills to work for you!

We will not take a deposit in most cases unless a permit and/or engineering is required. When a permit is required we only ask for the minimum down to secure engineering and permitting fees. This is typically $500-$1000 dollars and does not depend on the size of the job. The deposit is due when the contract is signed, then we take final payment only, and not until, you are 100% satisfied!

The Details...

Our prices may be slightly lower than industry standards, but our attention to the details remain incredibly high! In fact, we pay particular attention to the details... small things such as; sealing all of those tiny gaps between your home and our structure that might allow bugs in, uniform screw patterns connecting beams and wall columns, and uniform screw patterns for the various common connections of the smaller parts of the structure. When you look at our structures, you will notice that the screw patterns line up with each other and are in line with the next. This looks nice and professional.

In many of my competitors work I see jobs in which the beams and uprights have been quickly and without care fastened together in a slipshod manner. There are no pre-measured marks to reference or templates used to ensure uniformity of screw patterns. The Affordable Screen Rooms Company utilizes custom templates and pre-measured marks to ensure the job is uniform. It is unfortunate, but some of those big companies pay their crews by how fast they can finish a job. In fact, the crew building your addition could be in a rush to get to the next job BEFORE they even get to YOUR job, or simply and worse, maybe they just don't care. They don't have the same investment that an owner of a small company would have. It's not really there fault, but it is a reality. We take our time to do your job right the first time and you will be happy with your finished project.  We take great pride in putting our name on a job we complete, and it must be done right!

Also worth noting, our method of construction minimizes the amount of the screw heads you see. We do not use a stick building type of construction practice. Unless it is necessary, the maximum number of screw heads are hidden and out-of-sight while maintaining engineer guidelines for a much more aesthetically pleasing end product. There are various methods of construction and some can't conceal the majority of those ugly screw heads. This is a place you will undoubtedly spend a lot of time. It shouldn't be spent looking at a bunch of ugly screw heads that could have been hidden and will rust over time!
